Default Stepping My Game up

Quote from Ninja of a mini-z racin forum.
Description - I have an MR-02 Mustang GT for sale or trade. Installed on this car is a PN fibreglass DPS system, GPM aluminum adjustable motor mount, Kyosho X-Speed motor, Kyosho Ball Diff, Kyosho Bearings, Kyosho Red Front Springs, PN 1* Alloy Front Knuckles, PN Alloy +1 Toe Bar, PN 8* rear tires, Kyosho 20* front slicks. In the boxes are various screws, bearings, 2 sets of wheels for VDS or PN Pan Car Body, 5 ESC/Reciever boards (4 junk for soldering practice, and one I think works with 2x2 FET stack) Lots of servo gears, 3 servo savers, PN BB Motor Can, and lots of pinions. In the second box is a variety of motor parts, Brushes, Cans, Endbells, Rotors, Capacitors, and at least 1 assembled X-Speed Motor. Enough to build 10 Motors easily. In the third box I am including 5 sets of 1000mAh AAA batts, and a full set of 2200mAh AA Batts for the radio. I will also be including an Energizer 15min charger (not pictured).
5. Price - $150 shipped or trade for a good 1/18 to 1/16 scale RTR with a few upgrades.

[/QUOTE]

150, totally deflated price, almost done with finishing up my xmods, this is one I'll handwind a motor like 38T of 30awg in a pattern, this will be my ILR racer.
If this could be moved to the micro section that would be great, didn't see it.

New motor, 40T of 30awg, neos, carbon brushes, and chili can w/ Atomic quick-release endbell.

On the 6t pinion, it sounds like we have a winner.

It's now got stock rims.
I got my whitebody NSX, 2 sets of deans, chassis, small parts set, and DPS.

The whitebody is gorgeous, I promised myself I had to get one after seeing color0's.

The chassis is perfect, the servo's I have (sub-micro 1/18) might actually be a direct drop in, and if not, there will be minimal dremel work needed.
Got a chassis built, pics later.

A sub-micro servo will not be a direct drop in, sorry.

Looks good and good luck with the servo.

Is sub-micro different than micro?
I don't know, that might have confused you, I have a JR sm22(for micro-t BL mod) and an hs55.

I don't believe there is a difference between micro and submicro, but I could be wrong. The way I see it, different sites just say different things.

It will not fit into an MR02 without modification.

I don't see why you'd want to use an HS55 anyway. The stock servo in all MiniZs are perfectly fine and definetly strong enough. I know I love the response, strength and feeling of my steering on my MA010. I wouldn't expect the MR02 to be horrible, otherwise many other people would have done some sort of conversion by now.

I have to get the servo motor, and I have the hs55 on hand anyways.
Well, no turning back, I already started the hackery, and it's looking not that bad.
