Suggestions for mods
would it be such a bad thing to take the closed threads like off?
because they were closed for a reason and now no one post in um so why not take um off the site?

They are left on because a lot of times they contain good information but were closed because they drifted too far from the original topic or all of the useful information that could be posted was...and a bunch of people adding crap to it is useless.

there has been numerous questions like this and the answer is simple...the mods just dont have time to close and delete the threads

well accutally if they didnt have time nothing would be closed sooo that doesnt have anything to do with it because then they could just delete them as they close um
or at least delete the stupid pointless closed threads

another may be...that the mods are just that..moderators and do not have the option in their forum abilities to hard delete a thread.

nope, a thread gets closed because there's no longer any need for discussion. but get's left visible because there's information in it that other people can see.
like this one. closed because there's nothing to discuss. but left visible so you can see why. oh yea, and a handful of threads wouldn't make the site load faster
