Post my evo alloy

Last week I ordered alloy parts from asiatees.com, I really wanted to get these up for the comp but I just got them in the mail today. Anyways Ive put them on my car and it runs great! Its so smooth now, its awesome!
I ordered the:
front gear box
rear gear box
rear differential
rear skid plate
front wheel shafts

I already had front and rear knuckles and rear dogbones so I put the al dogbones with the front wheel shafts and I have al. rear swingshaft commin from dinball soon. Anyways this thread would be pointless with out the pics so here they are:

ok, I finally got my last part- rear swingshafts in the mail last week so heres a pic- theres only one in the pic(the other one is already put in):

right now its running pretty good but I have to play around with it now because the rear diff is still a bit stiff but other than that its all good This is the first time Ive really done anything with aluminum upgrades, its pretty awesome but I dont think Ill be getting anymore because of the prices. Asiatees was awesome, most of their parts are the cheapest I've found on the internet I'd definitly recommend them to anyone. And Dinball is a good seller too, pretty cheap and fast shipping Anyways hope you guys like it, I know I do

titan and tc suck...
i just bought the tc and almost averything is wrong, nothing lines up.
form the pics ive seen of the titan its crap as well.
the wheel wells are WAAAY too big and it looks nothing like the stock titanv8 sitting across the road from me.

if you want to put alot of time into making it look right then go ahead but for the money...they arent worth it.

best bet would be, buy a f150,hummer or a evoviii, mustang on clearance and buy the model bodies if your stuck on getting a scion or titan.

plain and simple the new evo's are junk. bodies dont fit/look right and the paint sux. the tc i bought is extremely rough with alot of orange peel and casting dimples.

cheers,
bondo

Yeah, I've seen the dimples, but I like my titan. Plus, with the lift kit and some bigger tires, the big wheel wells are important. I had to shave some more off my rear wells so the articulation could work to the max. The bigger tires were rubbing...

by the way, use some sort of threadlock on the screws. My alloy/aluminum parts are losing screws easier than the plastic parts do...

hummer for offroad. shorter wheelbase, steeper approach and departure angles. and much easier to clearance the fender wells for bigger tires.

if you're just doing it for looks. get what you want. but if you want to get something capable. the hummer is far better than either truck.

the shorter wheelbase s better for off road. Also, there is less stuff on the hummer hanging out past the wheels to get stuck. See the rear and front bumper, how they don't stick way out?!? The ford and nissan trucks could scrape and hang on stuff...

Thats the same with mine, it just started happening to the front knuckles like last week, I thought I damaged the threads on the inside or something. All the other stuff is still good though.
I was thinking about picking up a firebird soon at the x-mas sales but all this talk about bodys^^^ Does anyone know how good the firebird's body is? If I do get it Im going to paint it. I was thinking either a flat black with stripes maybe or a nice green, like some of the cars in "gta san andreas"(ps2), I cant describe the colour but its nice, and I dont really like too many greens either . I saw one in one of my car magazines so I'll look for it later. And lastly maybe a matallic navy Im still not too sure, I'll decide when or if I get it.
