YES that would be a very good thing to put on an off road xmods because it would make it alot stronger and it could take the heavy abuse from the terrain very well

yeah that would be cool, but unfortunately GPM has no intention of making Off-Road gpm. i have asked MANY seller's of GPM if there is gonna be some gpm off-road parts and they all said no. it would cost too much to make them is what i have been told.

Does it have to be GPM branded? I've seen other companies make billet aluminum parts for trucks.

i used it as just a referance to all metal parts. and Hot Racing doesn't plan on making off-road alloy either. i have talked to every one! and even got the guys at GPM considering it. but they came back the next day with a "Its to expensive". so i gave up.

but im sure if you had the machine in your area you could make some.

Ah, okay.

Well, I'll link up some places that have Evo-Truck billet alum. parts:

http://www.liquidrc.com/index.php?ma...ort=20a&page=2

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/defaul...afeef2c369d75c

http://www.atomicmods.com/category.aspx?categoryID=234

The first and second have almost the same stuff (Hot Racing arms+knuckles) but the first link also has shock mounts

if you use hot racing alloy rear dogbones, and RS plastic front axle stubs, they'll work just fine on all 4 corners. just get a bunch of extra stubs from AM for a few bucks, and you're set. anything else would be overkill.

i dont think atomic buys from GPM cause of the high prices on it all. (though they might). i have compared gpms prices with AMs and AM is $5-$10 more expensive than GPM. the extra expense usually comes from labor (when you are talking about AM). this is just a guess in this post but i can tell you that there wont be any GPM off-road parts for a while.

that I have. I broke a rear dogbone and a front stub once (seperately), so I started experimenting to see what worked, and found this combo did. I started out with plastic dogbones (and lots of extras, just in case). and then found alloy ones. still haven't found alloy stubs for 4WD though...
