Default The secret truck reveled!! 56k death...

This will be entered in the next Truck cotm, And hopefully by then itll have all its go fast parts! Just outa curiousy how many people thing they would vote for this?

Well ive been keeping this on a secret for a while now. And its currently done enough to revele it! i got a bunch of gpm comming, 2x2 fets, lipo and more! that way it can pull alot more then what i can now on stock electronics.

This truck started life as the 1996 mobil gas station truck (a 1996 chevy silverado 1500) that i bought a few years ago at a flee market. I got bored a few weeks ago and spotted it in the botton of my closet and i got to work. The paint is dark blue with a gunmetal bottom half and a bronw strip separting the two colors. And this paint is flawless my best work ever! An if i believe, correct me if im wrong this is the forst flatbed truck made. I can drive it with a all alloy gen1 chassie with batteries no problem at all. the rear suspension is beafed up to handle the weight.

This is what it started life as....(not my actaul truck i never took a shot before i painted it i stole that pic off ebay)

And now...

CB antenna mod.

Spring loaded push bar to push broken cars where they needa go.

Full interior.

Custom made ramp boards to allow cars to drive up.

Retractable ball trailor hitch.

Chassie extention shots. It was done by connecting two grey truck chassies into one by using plastic from a xmod case.

Beafed up suspension springs and long screws allow for 1/2 inch of travel for when loaded.

More random shots.

Fully loaded. With scale bungie cords to hold it in place.

And the best thing about this truck. It still has full articulation if not more then stock trucks. Also in this shot you can see the beafed up rear suspension it has longer silver screws attaching to the top deck and stock truck silver springs witha spacer and gen1 blue springs on bottom for better resistance. The front is the same with red gen1 springs.

Heres a video of it running. I was both taking the the shot and driving so sorry for the bad cameramanship and the bad driving hahah. Its driving with a full gen1 65 mustang with complete chassie and the batteries inside it.

VERY cool Vette. Not the 1st flatbed/medium duty work truck, but it is amung the best I've seen.

The silver springs at where you connect the plastic case extension to the main chassis, they help with flex?

Wow...beautiful job. I want to see a video of the truck driving with the ramps down, and a car driving up onto the flatbed at speed, knight rider style.

you cant..... first off the ramps arent on wheels and are not attached.... secondly the radios would mess each other up
