what 4wd parts you getting from atomic? if its the composite gears for the 4wd, i strongly reccomend not to.

Zippo why do you recommend no to get the composite gears? I don't have them myself, but I am just wondering.

And, yes Zippo I would like to know that also. I always though they were an upgrade from the RS gears?
yes the composite gears are supposed to be an upgrade from the stock ones. but when put under torque, from crawling, climbing etc. they just shatter. i had one set do it, and goodfellaz from xmf has commented he has had a couple sets do it. from what i can tell from the rear third unit that exploded on mine is the composite material is acutally softer than the stock third unit. you would think that they would have a little more give to them being softer, but the material it is made from actually just ripped apart from each other. so if you planning on doing any serious crawling, offroading, or anything that requires a decent amount of torque, stay stock. my 4 runner had the composite gears and it blew apart the rear. my titan has stock gears, and i have had the titan's chassis longer than the composite gears for the 4runner. and they show no signs of wear, cracking or any stress marks at all.
ill get pics if you would like to see.
