hey guys i just wanted to get your opinion on this project

im going to paint my 05 mustang gt like the 07 remake of parnelli jones' 1970 boss 302 mustang




this protect has not official started just yet need another mustang body before i can get started but i just wanted to see what you guys think

im doin the 05 first and then maybe the 65 (it will look a lot different) but i put the pic of the original car to show what and who parnelli jones was

it wasnt no 65 O_o i tell u that its newer than that like 68 thro to 70 in that range

no he's talking about the xmod body being a 65 but it would look a little weird but none the less pretty cool

and yes supraboi you are right i guess i didnt make it clear about that it was the 65 mustang xmod


if you look in the gallery theres a 65 with the #15 and all the sponcers on the side

just saying that this project has begun, i just got the model body of a 06 mustang gt about an hour ago so no real work just yet but it has begun

small update

hood scoop done, holes in front cap done

license plate removal begun, and rear debadget almost done, rear quarter windows in place

May I ask why you went with a model kit instead of an Xmod Mustang body? You made a lot more work for yourself, in my opinion.

Shall be a sweet project. Can't wait for the finished product!

i went with a model body because if i f*** up i can go by another one for 10 bucks the xmod bodys are 25 plus shiping
