Default Only if you convert to lithium ion AA

If you convert to a lithium cell, each cell equals 3.6 volts. The standard AAA only have 1.2 volts. So 2 lith cells = 7.2 volts vs. 4 AAA cells= 4.8 volts. the lith also weigh alot less and have a much higher discharge rate.

Basically the best most cost affective way to almost double your speed and tourqe of your car. There is a basic look at the advatage to AA lith cells.

if he is talking about just going with x2 NIMH than the
answer is definetly No!

1.5v x2 = 3v (Major loss from x4 AAA = 6v alkalyne)

but if you are to upgrade to x2 Lithiiums than as posted above....

Also even if you were going to put 4 regular NIMH AA it will be alot of weight, just stick with the 4 NIMH AAA or upgrade to the 2 AA Lithium.
