2nd plow truck (idea from crazyxmoder)

so i have been looking at crazyxmoders idea on a snow plow and since i work at a snow plow place and make them myself.. i thought i would make one too for fun. so here are pics



i made a salter.. for you that dont know , its a big bucket on the back of a pick up or whatever, when they plow parking lots or appartment complexes they have a thing spinning on the pack that drops salt all over to melt ice (black ice).... i need to make the drop spin for the salt to come out.. will be a task. pics!!

amazing. nice job bud i love the salter lol. what did you make it out of. and i have been working on a salter idea lol. what rims do you have on it lol. also do the tires rub on the body when you turn ?...again amazing job lol

lol thanks i just used the xmod plastic case and used my dremel and cut up peices. if you want i can take better pictures of the salter and show ya for a referance or something. i got the titan rims painted black, and im pretty suprised no rub really unless the suspension is depressed then i cant turn

not sure yet gonna need some tourqe and speed to keep moving on the snow and to keep the snow moving ill get pics up after some turkey dinner

Nice job dude. In this scale with this stiff of shocks, there really is no suspension(but in my Micro DT there is). I like the idea though. I sharpied my Titan wheels black a long while ago and they still look fine.

now you can send your kid out side with about 20 bucks worth of batterys and say go have fun. walk out side in an hour to a bare clean de iced driveway haha.

lol yea but will you be the fist to get the snow blower to be perfect??? but yea my drive way its kinda messed up so its gonna articulate and what not and make the suspension move a little... i need to get another lift kit and lift it so it looks better. maybe ill make the frist salter..... we should talk to a mod and see if we can do a winter based COTM like plows and what not.. would be fun no???

that would be very fun lol. he blower is pretty much perfected lol its just a matter of a test lol. ill let you have the first salter lol unless you need any help ill help yuou out lol

that salter is a good idea. but you might have to cut the tailgate out to get it to work. and maybe you could use a small motor to get the spinning thing to spin.

yeah i found 2 tiny motors about half in long and they are really durable for something like that i can make a belt to move the salt back and one motor for the spinner to throw the salt

if i need any ill let ya know... and about the blower ya know the blades make a spiral and spin it to the side not throw it in front of the truck again but maybe one day we can put ideas together and make a big plow truck and enter it in some kind of comp and split a prize or something..

totally lol i love my blower (that sounded wrong in a way lol) but it is now turned to one side lol i need a micro t stock esc and servo now lol

thats good maybe ill try to make the spiral snow blower after i figure out the salter and what not

nice i like the salter yea mine worked but then i gave up on it cause i couldnt if a way to mount a motor so i just junked it. and and use the housing of the blower as a snow scooper.

im thinking about mountin the motor right over where the hitch should be cause it is small enough to do that but im not sure

the foam in the salter pulls it all together.

lol thanks... yea i tried to find something that would give the look of thick metal at a small scale.. the box was thick and i have silver paint so i thougt "freak yea i got an idea" i was being dumb and glued the foam in the box so im gonna make a 2nd one and when im done with that one im gonna use real salt and make it motorized

as for the foam cut out what you can and i think there is a solvent that will like melt it. i have a salter in the works lol.
