I just noticed this. It sounds good but in my opinion your logic is critically flawed. Here is why, the reason healthcare costs are so high in the first place is because of government intervention. Doctors charge more because insurance will almost always try to settle the medical bill for a fraction of the initial cost, so doctors have to charge more or they would be going in the hole.
And if you get the government involved the first thing you know the doctors are providing there services free of charge. What incentive would people have to become a doctor if you aren't going to make any money? If you want lower healthcare costs privatize the whole system that way you bring market competition into the mix. The same goes for Social Security.

i voted mccain, i have some issues with some of his ideas. specifically 2nd ammendmant rights, his ideas on the economic reform, wealth distribution, etc. i believe some of his gun control ideas are a joke. i believe that if you take guns away, only the criminals will still have guns.
the economic issues are something that needs to be looked at. but as previously stated not right at this point.
military issues, we engaged in warfare, right or wrong, why pull troops and leave iraq before they have an established govt system and militray. if there are still issues and we are still there what is going to happen if we pull our troops? it will make us look like we start something without finishing it.
just my 2 cents.

if i could vote i would vote mccain. thhe whole idea of wealth distrbusion is crazy and unfair. and the entire gov would be one sided.
heathcare, just cause the gov gives you a doc and says you need a check up doesnt mean ppl will go to the doc if they got to pay for gas to go to some doc aaalllllllll the way on the other side of town
wealth distrabusion, working people find this unfair. this guy works two jobs and gets by ok,but with obamas plan, that guy over there can sit around and still get paid.

We held a mock election in the beginning of the school year (like the second day, I believe) and McCain lost by quite a large margin. However, the whole school held this mock election again today and McCain did not lose by nearly as large of a margin. Mind you this is ten weeks later and with high schoolers, but I was still quite surprised to see that large of a jump in the vote towards McCain. Especially seeing as how Michigan is a more Democratic state this time 'round.

There's always a chance for either party to win, only time will tell. So far the media has been saying it's going to be Obama, but if memory serves me right, they have been wrong for the past two elections saying the Democratic party was going to win when infact the Republican party won both the elections.. Maybe third time's a charm? Lol.

I voted McCain because I'm a Republican. I don't really look much into politics so I just choose the Republican.

And remember what that lady said:
Quote:
I don't trust Obama because he's an Arab
Obviously she's wrong but it's pretty funny how serious she sounded about it.

i think that neither one really has a set group voting for them. at my high school of 1000 students mccain won by around thirty votes yet today as we drove by a collage, a group of students had "honk if you like obama" signs. at scouts he won by 10ish votes of 50 people ranging from age 11 to age 70.

the media is very bias of the ones i have watched, because of this i'm not really listing to wat media says. my gut says obamas got it in the bag but with the results of the mock elections it has my head in circles,so as of now my brain doesnt care wat anybody or anything says who will win until 6:30 am. school tomarrow is going to be horrid
