Default Digital Drawing?

Anyone on here like to draw? Specifically, digital drawings?

I was over at my girlfriend's house, and saw a little thing hooked up to her computer. I started messing with it while she was off talking to her parents about something, and realized it's an older style Wacom tablet.

So, I went out and bought one from Best Buy yesterday, and I've been drawing almost non-stop sense then.

I'm not good at all, but here's some of the stuff I've done.

And these were half traced, half free handed.

All of these were done in GIMP 2, but I just recently... "obtained" Photoshop CS5, so I'll be messing with that as well.

Anyway, anyone else like to draw? Digital or pencil and paper, post em up.

C&C is appreciated.

I love to draw on paper. I don't own a tablet so it's kinda hard to draw of PS. Sometimes I hook my iPod touch via wifi and use it as a tablet.

Which tablet did you get at Best Buy? I'm assuming a Bamboo Pen (maybe Pen & Touch?)?

They're good. I've seen you posting them on Facebook and was curious as to what software you were using.

Keep going.

Cheers,
Kyle

I draw...and all that.

Wacom tablets are great, and I have one, but to master digital drawing you need to combine a wacom and a mouse. The mouse will allow for easier manipulation of the drawing as well as the ability to draw a straight line.

I knew Surge was going to post at some point... haha, I've seen your stuff. Top notch.

Donzii, I the cheapest one, which is just the Pen an Tablet.

I'm saving up, and most likely upgrading to the Intuos4 wireless tablet, so I can leave my laptop hooked up to my tv, and have a 32" monitor to draw on, as opposed to my 10.1" netbook. >.>

I've used those wacom tablets with school and work, they are great.

The bamboo ones are the entry level side of them. The cream of the crop is the Cintiqs. . . . http://www.wacom.com/cintiq/

Trust me, if I had $2000 to waste, I'll be all over a Cintiq.

I just wanted a Bamboo so I could have something to mess around with.
