Project: COBRA Steel Crusher A.P.V.
so got a body awhile back...thought this would be a good idea for a quick and fun project...i was a big GI Joe fan back when i was little...no i didnt see the new movie and dont think i want to...but i did think this was a cool rig and would make a cool project...the goal...
 the body as i got it in trade...    then i cleaned the body up, shaved hood vents and roof lights...and started to build some of the weapons, armor and accessories...  missile launchers(bumblebee weapons)  windshield bulletproofing  bulldozer blade(bumblebee doors)   roofrack/gun turret(combo of hummer and f150 racks/bars)+ official GI Joe gun   wheels(Titan/lower left) and an accidental teaser/mock-up pic..........................V  then i started to have orange peel issues...and was ready to throw this thing against a wall...well after many sandings and a dozen attempts at painting...i am happy enough with the paint that i am moving on...final assembly and completion pics are on their way...hope to enter this into the next COTM.....finally  hopefully back tomorrow with updates.....hope you all like it so far...

well that ride is sweeeeeeet!
 i havent even seen anything like it, abd nice idea about the bumblebee doors. excellent invention nice project

OK...so i'm into it...
'street' mode...   shaved hood vents  shaved rear roof lights...still have ti finish taillights to match 1:1  'battle' mode...   and a couple body on chassis shots...have to install extender and finish the mount    and some of the final details...gotta find a second set of military decals and lay everything out  comments welcome

as i have said before this is a sweet ride
will you be putting bullet holes in for the effect? as for the front "scoop weapon thingy"  how is it mounted?thanks and good luck with the stickers michael
