U.s.m.c. F150

sup guys

concept was simple F150, lift kit, slammed wheels, super swampers. but it was boring as the stock blue. found some green then slapped a few USMC decals all over it and called it done. that was a few months ago.

today i finished building what was originally going to be a camper top that turned into more of a mobile transmission station. details are no where near finished but you get the picture








dont judge the paint mismatching. the truck was airbrushed and the top was from a can of what i thought was the right color

it will still get 2 more brake lights on the back somewhere, fog lights up front, and a light bar across the top (if anyone has a prewired one for sale let me know)

i honestly couldnt say. i have 4 or 5 xtruck chassis and only 3 work so there is a possiblity it was yours

Cool design, back looks a bit out of scale since its so tall. But I give you an A+ for orginality.

I like the idea too. Wish I had thought of it.

Thanks man, it was look way out of scale but really it's not far off, the pic I found was of a red f150 extend cab same as the xmod body. Did a quick mesasurement of the hight, but forgot to do the length, so that's why it looks way out of proportion


Today I added 6 lights to the front of the top, only 4 currently have L.E.D.s in them
No pic for now, but soon

Anyone know how to solve the flickering problem when running more than 2 CLL kits at once? They flicker constantly till the trigger is pulled then they are solid and bright as they should be

I think the only way too stop the flicker is too run the lights on an external power source like the set up gearheadv8 uses to make his CLL kits. Or to wire it directly too the board on the battery solder joints on the board.
