Default Me and practicing CAD

well, I've been doing some CAD work for tripleX and decided to take a go at something just for fun, it took me about 15-20 minutes, it wasn't meant to be anything super special or super nice or super detailed, but something to just keep me entertained! tell me what you guys think!

As for the program, I use Autodesk inventor Pro 2010

yah, ill save those to my macbook here and resize em =P thats a full size screenshot from my desktop and dualscreen setup =P sorry!

edit: yes, windows 7 has been an angel for me! its run so smooth with no problems or anything! and theres the smaller resized and cropped images! these pics are just of one of my screens and is at 50% size so loss of image sharpness did occur =P

i dont really have anything to make wheels with XD i just drew up a 3D model of a rubber, and a ridgeless rim (one of the rims with the ridges on the edges instead of in the middle) i could make more designs if people like =P

Ok well the OZ Super/Ultraleggera are some of the hottest rims out there and you should try it for fun. Very nice job with the 8-spokes

So that's what Autodesk does! I've been wondering, because in my drafting class I use AutoCAD all the time, and the Autodesk icon is right under it just sitting there being mysterious and whatnot. :P Maybe I'll steal a copy with my flash drive. Heheheheh.

i can draw up your designs for you and stuff, i just cant make the actual parts, and autodesk creates CAD models for different applications.

I play, along with some other people on this site. I don't log on too often anymore. I'm waiting for Catalclysm to come out before I get into it again. I have a level 80 disc priest on Stormscale PVP.

Is there any way that you can find somebody to CNC the parts that you come up with? There's probably a huge demand for alloy xmods rims right now. Somebody on ebay had some decent ones a while back, but I never see them on there anymore.
