Default xmod suspension for the birds?!?

I was thinking about my current project (an evo chassis monster truck with a 1978 dodge ram pickup body and 1/32 scale model monster truck tires), and thought about tossing the front suspension all together. I'd still have the shocks for looks, but the front end travel would be locked down. No more bump steer, no more headaches regarding all the evo suspension short-comings. ideas? This beast will still climb over anything/everything without a little front end A-arm travel...

1/32 scale is smaller then an xmod, so your putting smaller then normal monster truck wheels on.

Find a good/clean way to lock it, and still have good turning, and I'm with you.. I'm doing the same thing. My truck has the rear suspension locked, just works better, less changing of the angles, and rides at full hieght 100% of the time..

The front, I like the realism.. But the blue is too soft. Lock it and tell us how it goes..

Xmods aren't perfect scale...

Because I still want it to look street legal (sort of). If I went with the 1/25 scale monster truck tires, the thing just looked dumb. I want the truck to look like something a real person might build for weekend fun, not a pro stadium truck with crazy huge tires. The 1/32 scale tires are actually better-scaled to the xmod. They look big, but not cartoonish...

Anyway, the thread was about the suspension, not my tire size choices...

update: I put a drop of CA gue on the shaft of each shock as I installed them, so now my suspension is permanently set at full extension. Once the truck is complete, I'll let you all know how it performs...

I think it should perform just as good or better.
the little travel the front has probably is not really enough to do anything much

I figured it helped keep all four in contact with the ground while climbing objects. However, I'd rather eliminate the bump steer when driving straight and fast...
