Default My new R/C toy
I have been looking at one of these things for a while now and finally broke down and bought one yesterday. It's a Team Associated 18R; its 1:18 scale and is meant for road racing/rally. It's a lot of fun, pretty fast out of the box and there seems to be quite a few upgrades for it, including alloy and composite (carbon fiber) parts, as well as 11.1 v lithium polymer batteries and it can even support a mamba brushless motor setup. Right on
This one is bone stock, 4wd (alluminum driveshaft), oil filled shocks and came ready to run.

dude that thing needs to be longer and skinnier it looks like a box! but its stil pretty nice

problems you say? and why is that?

i got it at a (relatively) local hobby store for $220 CAD, but i have seen them elsewhere too. I know it's not the coolest looking r/c ever made but it hauls right out the box, and its only gonna get faster

How are they cheaper? IMO electrics are cheaper to maintain. You dont have to buy gas or anything. Just charge and play.

yeah i've got a micro-t too, but the batteries burnt out on me so i'm gonna have to replace those. its a good little truck but it breaks really easily, thats my only problem with it. and im more of a car person than a truck person, losi doesnt really offer a car besides their baja buggy and i'm not really interested in that. so far no videos, but thats because i dont have anyone to film for me... meh

ive never had a teamassociated car before why dont you like them...i like team losi stuff too...you know that i have 2 micro-t's
