that there is spot on

my next project will be just like that....

will have my own design, i'm heading away from this racey type design style....to a more concept design as you're saying.
this next project will not take anywhere near as long as this one but it will be much much better...i will fabricate and design my own lights etc...i was going to do that for this project but i really am pushing my luck for time, and i really need to just get it finished

anyway stay tuned for the result....tomorrow is set aside to purely finish the bodywork...although it will probably run into the following day....where i aim to get detailing finished and then have it in primer....ready for colour coat the following evening.

wish me luck, and i really do appreciate all the input and enthusiasm towards it so thanks a lot

right body work is getting close now!

Front arches are such a bugger though, as i'm making the front bumper removable i've got to put filler and then file it down so it matches absolutely spot on for the bumper and arch, very time consuming

i've just deep dished two of the wheels, and that's all that needs done as the rear surprisingly isn't any wider than stock.
the whole rear bumper is finished and moulded into the rear end, the rear lights need a bit more work on the space they fit into...but last night i puttied it and the shape is correct now, all it needs doing is smoothing.

window lines still need redoing, and door lines which smooth into the side skirt still need a little shaping and smoothing.

BUT, i plan to get it in primer tonight, and so should with any luck have an update later tonight for you

right it's now in primer
i'm happy with how it's turning out.

basically...the bodywork is nowhere near finished....but having it in primer will allow me to see what needs work and what's finished.

and it's safe to say...that everything needs work

Although it does allow you to see what the end product is going to look like, and i really really like the design...the rear end i wasn't sure about how it would turn out, but now that it's in primer i think it'll look great.

i'll post some pics up in a bit once the primers dried and i can put the body parts back on.

cheers

the left rear arch and c-pillar might need some slight smoothing(just scrathes i see), but besides that, it's a stunning piece of work.
i love the sharp definition of the front wheel arches.
lol looks pretty darn wide. is the front wider than the back?

study the pics a bit closer, and i don't think there's one little bit on the car that doesn't need any work

window lines are really poor, especially rear window, its so bad i'll have to add filler to give it depth.

and yea, the front is wider than the rear, it's quite an illusion actually as the rear isn't actual any wider than standard.

but cheers people, makes it all worth it....tonight i'm up for a few more hours going to get all window lines spot on, and start perfecting more of the bodywork ready for another prime tomorrow, and possible even first layer of arden blue

stay tuned

**** bro its looking good... i cant wait till i get mine looking likes its getting sum where right now im still working on getting the body smooth from years of driving it and scatches etc.

Do u have a set of wheels picked out for it yet? if not i can Mock u up a set and ship them to u... all u will have to do is find a way to mount them.. but here is a tip i found that the spacers that come off the Lancer evo wheels works good for a mounting plate i used the for my deepdish wheels on my GTR...
