Default servo isnt strong enough to turn?!?

can anyone tell me what could be wrong with my servo?i have a gen 1 and it doesnt have enough power to turn my wheels. it turns fine when i take off the front end, everything has been cleaned and there is no binding, but when the tires touch the ground it just doesnt have enough tourqe to turn the wheels. i do have the "resistored" form of the tight turns mod, could that be limiting the power even though its not connected the the servo motor? someone help!!!

then you dont have tight turn resistors cause they go in between the board an the servo make sure there hooked up right try it without them an make sure you didnt use the wrong resistors

i have the tight turns hooked up to the brown and orange wires like it said in the turorial i saw, and for the resistors i got them off of ebay from a person with the username of "neverwhere" my remot is fine its just that when i turn i can hear the motor trying to turn the wheels, but it just cant. it sounds like it would if you were to hold your wheels in place and try to turn at the same time. thanks for the help too

how are your batteries? as the voltage drains, the servo motor will have less torque.

and if that's not your problem....I have no idea what could be.

i tried the 5th and 6th cell upgrades with fresh batteries, and it worked pretty good, but when the voltage drained it started to weaken again. im using 1000 mah ni-mh. i guess thats it, but if anyone else has something else that they think might be wrong please let me know! thanks!
