No such thing. AE is the company name, 18T or 18B, or as commonly known, RC18T and RC18B respectively.

Iche put AE 18T because he was signifying it was an AE product that he has, and an 18T (or RC18T) model

Looks like you still have quite a bit of researching left to do

of course with all rcs somethings going to break so dont just be like he tis thing ius very durable. but they could just be driving on pavemnt very slowly. so you are going to havemto upgrade it eventually. even on my 1/8 ofna mbx rtr i broke an arm by hitting a curb. just bought a new one and its fine

Make sure to research on R/Cs. Don't just settle for the cheapest hobby-grade just to be able to say "hey, RS-boys, I've got a hobby-grade".

There are many 1:18 scale R/C out there.

Man... You picked the wrong time to go R/C crawling... Tamiya just discontinued their TLT-1 series (the Rock Buster and Max Climber). They were the most affordable, and most 'modable' 1:18 out there!

Lucky for me... I got one when they came out

But if that's what you're going to do, make sure to check out fleabay for used TLT-1's!

the same friend just got the mini LST, while it looks great and has lots of torque....from a noobs viewpoint it would almost be impossible to take apart and do your own repairs. hes had it for a few weeks and already stripped the gearshe took it back to the hobby store and they charged him $50 for a new gear and labor.][/

whatever part you would need to fix on an 18T ...it would be easy to get and easy to install.

iche, how did ur friend get charged 50 dollars for a new gear? i just came back from hobbytown after stripping my gears and it only cost 3.50
anyway, stay away from the mini-lst, its just to overkill, trust me, ive faced all that could go wrong with it. i would go with the rc18t or rc18mt IMO.
oh red, havent you noticed this thread is in the wrong section?

I have a AE RC18T with a tekin mini rage ESC and mamba 8000 motor. What i love is that you can change ESC's and REceivers without soldering at all! I just bought an 18R and with the mamba it's gonna be fast! If your going off road, you NEED oil shocks!

if you have glitches with your mini quake wrap the wires around the center brace. kepp them as far away from eachother as possible

Which 18R did you buy?

I'm actually considering the 18R as opposed to the off-roaders (I prefer large off-roaders than small ones), and because I don't have any 'quality' on-roaders.

I'm looking into AE's latest 18R, the Niteline (just because its got the Skyline-like body).

How does it handle? Be sure to report on it with the Mamba!

Well, I'll have the other guys who suggested the Mini Quake and all that to post links, but if you want to see the RC18 series, go to the previous page and click on the links that I posted.
