a good way to get the paint off without ruining the car, is use brake fluid...i learned about it not to long ago...leave your car in the brake fluid for a couple of hours, then use an old toothbrush and scrub the paint off...if you have latex gloves i would suggest using them....but good luck with your project....

no brake fluid!!!! my evolution 8 lost all structural integrity after about 1 hour
i suggest if you have to use the stuff, leave it only for 10 minutes. the fluid eats the plastic and makes it brittle. more work, but saving you money so you don't have to buy a new car body

Try not to sand the body/window lines. That is the problem with painting over and over again. You start to lose the detail when you sand them. IT happened to me on my evo 8. but now it looks cool. Take your time, be patient and it will come out right. Hope this helps.
