^^^ what he said, you post count only goes up when you post in certain areas of the forum, off topic doesn't count, and a couple other sections.

No, actually your wrong. Entirely. Why don't you sit and listen.

As stated above, off topic sections don't add towards you post count. We set this up to prevent people from spam posting up other sections to gain post count. Once you have 50 you can see and buy from the section.
