bad radioshack experience

Yesterday I decided to go to a radio shack about 45 minutes away from my house, when I got there I asked if they had any xmods stuff. They said yes and pointed me over. when I got there, they had 5 gen1 rsx starter kits and 5 civic starter kits. also, they had about 30 trandformer cars. for upgrades, there were still 350z body kits, 67 camaro body kits, and evo lancer kits. also they had gen1 wheel upgrades, alluminum wheel upgrades, and all of the other rare ones. I went and asked them if they had the 97 cent special and they said "nope" For a second I thought i was going to get all of these upgrades for 97 cents one of the guys told me he thougt that the rsx's and civics were $23, then the manager told me "those are 40, normally 50" I was wishing that they would have them really cheap since they were discontinued about 3 years ago. oh well.

Does anyone else have radio shacks with rare upgrades?

There was about five of them that had the upgrades,but i bought them all.I bought all of mine for .97 each except for the stage 2 motor was 7.99 each.

My radio shack still has Gen 1 upgrades, but no Gen 1 cars as far as I can tell.

They are selling for full price still.. I told them that Xmods are no longer made and other RS's were selling the stuff for a heck of a deal.. they didn't budge so I walked out. I'll stick to Ebay.

mine did but i just got them i also got a supra and the chassis for 15 yaaaaaa it is awesome so little scratches but hey it works

How old are you,like 12 or something,a child cant be a child melister,unless you melist a younger child..LOL

My RS still sells some Gen.1 stuff,but its like the old wheel upgrades,couple screwed up vette BK's,and some other stuff..

- i just went to a radioshack and came back with a huge box and a 4 foot receit....

-it was in nyc. i got like 60 upgrades like 6 gen.1 awd a few offroad upgrades and and upgrade you can think of....all 97 cents sept the 4 stage 2 motor upgrades were the reg. price


-so i think its all luck and location.

ya i think so to my other ones have had crap in them but the one i got my supra was good

-look at my previous post...no cars just more upgrades than i have ever seen in my entire life.

40 aint that bad. thats how much I got my RSX for on ebay including shipping from canada. anyway there over 50$ now so I'm very surpised there still there but moreso that there not 50$. stop being a cheapass and buy it, you know you want that RSX.

-theres a steal...i failed to ask the rs i went to if they had any cars....all i saw was the bin of upgrades about to be put in the basement to be shipped away

That sounds like a Radio Shack dealer store, not corporate. Radio Shack corporate stores nationwide all have the same prices, but dealer stores make their own prices.

Well my radio shack is the best. Most of the time they have what i want.
