Default off-road kit??

ok i just got the off-road kit put on and for some reason when i press down on the front the wheels turn outwards is this normal? if not how can i fix?

i can take the kit back cuz i got it all the way out in pensylvania and i live in canada ontario

That's normal. That's how the Evo Suspension works. AustinCrawls found a way to fix it a bit, and then AVANT on MZR worked out the rest of the bugs.

Stay tuned on how to convert it to a King Pin Suspension like on the Mini-Z...

easyer way just put another spring on it so you have 2 on each one but only do this to the front.

it's called bump-steer, and is a design flaw. it's caused by the steep lower suspension arm angles and no compensation in the tie rod. so when the suspension compresses, the lower arm pushes the front of the knuckle out away from the chassis, but the tie rod keeps the back of the knuckle at the same place.

there is no easy solution. you could do something to push the ends of the tie rod out, giving toe in on down flex and 0 toe on up flex....but that'd just be a band-aid. You really need to redesign the tie rod to flex at the same angle as the lower A-arm.

we don't want to stay tuned. I am about to build my next crawler and want to know a better solution NOW!!!
