It looks like magnets in place of the shocks, pretty simple theory actually, although they still offer no dampening so I cant see what gain there would be (other than saying "look what i got")

well that would depend on what they weigh compared to what the shocks weigh They would operate without any frictional losses though.

id put my money on that they weigh a little bit more..and the gain you get from the friction would be miniscule... imo

So there would be no point in buying them.

ther magnets that replace the shocks and are made so that when u put them on the magnets repell instead of attract so it applies pressure on the wheels for more traction and stability

You could make really, really hard suspension or really soft supension depending on the mags. You get more tuneablility out of these than springs. Plus magnets are fun to play with

not only are they probably heavier (although not noticeably...), serve the exact same purpose as the shocks, AND be very hard to adjust, depending on how they are mounted...

but they would not create a linear 'spring' rate. they would be progressive (very soft while unweighted, and VERY stiff while compressed). I've driven a couple real cars with progressive springs on them (for ride comfort....soft while driving in a straight line, but when cornering hard....very stiff), and they make some very strange handling characteristics....

stick with regular springs...if you really are worried about the friction of the 'shocks', get some gpm ones and grease them a bit.

dont get them, because the weaker of the two magnets on one shock will slowly lose its strength over time as its being repelled.

i didnt make this up, i actually learned this in physics

yeah that is true it would be a waste of money to get them but if they invented ever lasting magnets then it might be worth it

ELECTROMAGNETS!!! then you could change the rate by altering the field current
