Default The Age of Exploration.

I'm sitting here, staring at the pages my history teacher said would help us write out "newspaper style" report on the Age of Exploration.

Well, its not helping much, so I'm gonna ask you guys some stuff.

Just be glad I'm not asking for it all. Lol.
This is just a little of what I need.

The Columbian Exchange
1. Why was it called the Columbian Exchange?

Mercantilism and the Colonies
1. Who laid claim to which colonies? (I believe it means the America)
2. What did each colony provide for its mother? (I think it means what did the colonies provide for whoever claimed that colony...)

European Effect on the New World
1. What cultural items/ideas were taken to the New World?
2. In what ways did the New World resemble the homeland?

Native American Observations
1. How did the natives react to the arrival of the Europeans?

This is barely anything compared to the rest I have to do.
Lol.

So yeah, help if you can.

Thanks!

P.S.- I'm in no rush, I have about a month to do this.

Native American Observations
1. How did the natives react to the arrival of the Europeans?

first were confused with who they were and didnt like others on thier land. many attacks on both sides were made.after john smith talked to the chief, a agreement was made about food, land. the british learned from the natives how to cook, farm, live and hunt

2. What did each colony provide for its mother?

The colonies would supply raw materials for the mother country. They would then be changed in manufactured goods in Europe then sent back to the colonies to be sold. It's the basics of mercantilism.

The colonies also provided more markets for goods to be sold on.

They also gave the mother country more power because during this time period, the more land you have, the more power you have.

M'k, reviving this.
First, I'd like to say this:
Procrastination is a *****!

Ok.
So, this is due tomorrow by 2:55PM.
I'm stuck on one little thing.

Was Jamestown a Catholic settlement?
If not, what religion was it?

EDIT.
I no longer need this, closing now.
Thanks to everyone for their help.
