Default new to xmods! have a few questions!

hey all, i just bought my first xmod after about a week of research.

it is a 2010 mustang, as i own a mustang myself

just wondering, my stock wheels feel like they have alot of play in them, is that normal? or do i need to upgrade to aftermarket bearings?

also, it makes alot of noise, like all rc cars do when they drive, im sure its normal, im just paranoid.

GPM is a company that makes aluminum alloy replacement parts for all the plastic bits. It's over the top unless you're serious about the thing.

Pick up some bearings, the play in the wheels comes from the plastic bushings used to hold the wheel hub.

I have bought bearings form here....http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PRO...arings/Kit7129. In my opinion they are good quality...better than radio shack and cheaper.

There are also some shielded bearings on the site i gave you a link to....... if you don't want open bearings.
