well i did a few things while waiting on my next things to show up in the mail.
wet sanded it fixed a few bad spots. still need to fix the front window. saw that after i pulled the tape off that it had a bad spot in it.

Paint looks good finished and sanded. Yea the sanding really helped.

thanks. it helped a lot. still a few spots im touching up. got one more thing to add to it before calling the body done.

wating on chassis to show up. and i ordered a spider 4.0 for it today.

so what chassis is going under this thing is it an evo or gen one. if its a gen one I say do the same color scheme on that as well

i am planning on using an aluminum evo chassis.

the paint job is a little bit sketchy but considering you did not use an airbrush nice job i like it alot great job love the purple

yeah it didnt quite turn out the same as the last time i laid these colors. but not bad.

heres an update on the chassis
it showed up in the mail. and after some slight modifying i got it mounted. turned out pretty good.








now i just have to modify the motor cradle for the radline modified motor. mount the liths. and solder some deans on the board. and still dunno if i wanna put the spider 4.0 i ordered on this one or not. input?

i got a new item today in the mail. my spider. i installed it, took some pics, went to test it and it didn't work. 4 hours later after checking voltage to each fet leg when you move the throttle, on another chassis, i came to the conclusion that whatever controls the fet commands is toast on the board in the pic. i soldered it to another board and it worked first try. now i just have to transfer it to the spider chassis. i have the lithiums in the chassis, and it looks sweet when its all together. i was going to shoot some pics but the board issue kinda ticked me off. so ill get some up after i transfer the board.

very cool idea man i love it but if you notice the ruogh edge where the colors mmeet? is that the way you painted it..? just asking cuz if not you tape could be the reasson for that or depending on how you pulled the tape off but eather way i love it man its awsome(but my fav. color is purple haha and no im not ***)

It looks awsome zippo!!I think it would be Awsome if it had a BK also..

lol. yeah the weather wasn't the best when i painted it. i got something planned for it. thanks. and if you like purple,look up my 72 nova ss. that purple turned out really nice.
