still the stock chassis? you could have at least shed a little weight off of it by removing the top cover, unless you are just trying to perfect the suspension and keep the rest of it as stock as possible

Bosco - have you noticed a reduction in the turning radius with the MA-01 board conversion? I converted an Xmod (Evo) over to an 01 IWavier board not too long ago and noticed wider turning radius - just curious.

Nice job on your conversion BTW - Xmods are an absolute blast with hobby-grade electronics!

Thanks!

Looks great!

If your not going to reduce the weight you should at least go for a quick motor to get the weight moving.

Where did you get the board from?

I have a Mini z MA-010 board in mine. When i had a traxxas controller the turns where nice but i sold that one and now i use a HPI one and it's not turning as good.So im going back to a traxxas one.For the chassis i left stock because i wanted stock with a better board in it.After stacking fets i'll get a faster motor for now im going with a PN AWD stock motor.

By adding the mini z board in it u get a better response in everything u will see and feel it.

Update fixed the sloppy steering. All i did was take off the plate that goes over the steering rod and sanded the middle till it was almost gone then sanded the side humps and kept test fitting. When i use to flip the car over and let the wheels spin the fronts would go left and right. Now they don't even move. For the front wheel wobble i used GPM knuckles bought wider bearings then took 1 white washer from the gpm knuckle and sand that thiner and kept test fitting.I have no play at all at the wheels.

another update ordered Black GPM front & rear shock towers only front came in so far. Also bought the set of MA-010 wheels and bought a brand new 2.4 MA-010 board for it.All i have to do is buy the 2.4 radio and a BB motor. Also dyed the rear motor mount black....This car is so smooth it's amazing how a xmod can work if you take it apart and sand down and put together the rite way.new pics
