Default new to site and xmods can i get some help

well i was wondering if anyone has tryed the xmods evo NOS i was wondering if its safe... or if anyone has tryed it

Description
Installing this kit will give your Xmod car a NOS BOOST (power boost), by bypassing your batteries and running your motor straight off of a 9 Volt battery (battery not included). Your other Xmod components will continue to operate off of your base power supply, while the motor is using the power from the 9 Volt.
You can adjust it to "BOOST" where you want it to, based on the voltage output of your Xmod (relay has a adjustable setting). So you can adjust when and where your "BOOST" comes into play, based on the position of the remote trigger position (may take some testing to tune it to where you want it, to fit your driving style).

Includes
Xmods Evolution NOS Upgrade
Installation Instructions

Compatible With
Xmods Evolution Cars / Xmods Street Cars / Xmods Evolution Trucks / Xmods Generation 1 Cars

Required
Requires a 9v battery (not included)
Requires a 5 Cell or 6 Cell Upgrade (not included)
Requires soldering and installation

this i what the website says

It's safe to an extent.... long term direct exposure to a 9V battery tends to be bad for your motor but don't get me wrong this is a fun upgrade and I'm not saying the first time you use it you will destroy you motor, it will in fact take quite some time for any permanent damage to occur but you have to keep in mind that if you are using a Stage 1 motor with this upgrade the life span of the motor maybe shorter than when not using this upgrade.

welcome to the forum

i havent come across a nos kit before but i did some research and got this ....

A capacitor or supercap is like a battery that can be charged quickly, and can let out a tremendous amount of energy in a short period of time. In this case it would allow the X-mod motor to spin a lot faster, and also give it more power.

dont know if this is true or not sounds right though

good luck
