Default Sup. New from the Chicago area.

Hi, my name's Eric.. I'm 20, and I'm into cars. I live near-ish to Chicago (about 45 minutes north of the City..).. I've been into XMODS since they came out years ago.

Here's my real whip..

http://www.upitall.com/Public/Pictures/2DSC_0330.jpg

And a few of my xmods..

I'll include pics of my two favorite ones.. Blue Si and a Blue Mustang GT..

These three of the Mustang are super recent..

Anyhow, that's it.. Just here to learn about them more even though I know most of the **** there is to know about them minus electronic ****. I'm not good with that stuff..

Welcome to XMS. You'll see me in here from time to time. Nice Impala! Once again welcome to XMS. If you have any questions about hobby quality RC's, ask me, I do remember some stuff from XMODs but its been a while since I've messed with them.

I've had a few hobby-quality RC's..

right now, I have :

HPI RS4 Rally
HPI Wheely king (added crawler conversion kit)
Kyosho Sunstorm 600 (it's a speed boat)
Kyosho Stadium Baja Beetle (need to find parts some day to restore it back to running condition.)

Here's a shot from a while ago of the WK after the crawler kit..

My brother has had countless R/C's , my stepdad has an older hydroplane? boat.. it's the hull with an R/C airplane engine and prop on a mount above the hull itself.. and also a T-Maxx and a Kyosho touring chassis with a Ram body on it from way back.. my father before he passed away was into heli's and planes.. so we still have all those. I just never really got into the other stuff.

Yup yup. I kinda have been throwing the idea around of making a trailer for the WK and the boat.

This is how the boat looks.. I haven't run it in several years however.

Please stop by the Rules and Guidelines section of the forum. You've already broken the image resolution rule. No images wider than 800pixels are allowed within image brackets ( [IMG] ). The violating image has been left as a link.

Welcome to Xmodsource.

You know they race some hobby grade cars in Crystal Lake right? I am sure the RS4 can be raced, in indoor they raced micro's, xmods, and mini z's. It is at the Hobby Town USA, the owner is taking ownership of some building and we will race indoor all year round, i do not know about nitro's yet. THe outdoor season ends oct 11. It is every sunday until then at the moment, depending on weather. Nice cars, hope to see you around.

So you're local to me? I live in Lindenhurst, right by the IL/WI border.
