Final RSX Pic's (for now atleast...)

Ok so if you dont know, or haven't been keeping up, i started an RSX prject which was like a bunch of mini-mods.

I'll put a link to it in a second.

Anyways, the project is by no means done i am just going to stop working on it for awhile, so im going to do a final update on it and then im done for awhile.

I have made some progress since last time but not much...

Here we go.



I got a new chassis since from the last one bruned right up cause of "my special upgrade..."



I did some sharpieing to it...(i will eventually do the bottome plate this colour too...)



the yellow is gone too...



same with the back deck...and you may notice i have some thick custom springs on there that are ten times better than stock ones, or upgrade ones.



here is som,ething i did since last time, i sanded off the turn signal part on the head light cover ( the yellow part)

I wet sanded it with this sand paper:





theres the front without the haedlight covers on...( i also shaded out the areas outside the lights, to give it a bullet shape...)

These rims will be replaced with other ones...but those too will be painted black...



My chrome gas cap which will be re-done eith the proper stuff, and not tin foil after...but it does look good like this too...

haha i told you i wasnt finished updating it...ill do that now..

Here you can see i tinted the back taillights:



on the left untinted on the right tinted.



with both of them tinted...you can also see here the acura, RSX, and the acura symbols which i have blacked out:



i did it with sharpie but i will repaint that part of the car later so it matches perfectly...

what have i done thats so special...nothing really, i said it was mini mods...

i have done tail light tinting, prep work for tons of lights and a cool light kit that flashs and dances ( italked about it in the other thread...).

i have my gas cap, and some other stuff i dont even remember...LIKE MY DUAL EXHAUST( nearly forgot about that one.......)



I also have a hinged hood, and custom engine...:





i plan on having more lights than new york too...

with:

4 front head lights
2 fog lights
4 back lights
2 exhaust lights
8 underglow lights
and i already installe my engine neons ( which is 2 lights..) seen here:



My lights are all going to be hooked up to this:



its a borad that has different options like:

on, flash, strobe, and dance with the beat of music, which it senses...

other than that i cant remember what i have done too it. again this preject is not over i will continue at a much later date...

Edit: the cars name is "Night rider"...i will make a custom plate for it that says that, instead of "i kandy". "night rider" it will also be stenciled on the car... ( not in quotes....lol)

it has it's ups and downs but if you read his entire post you would know that most of the downs are to be fixed.

i'm digging the lit engine bay.
you got just enough light to accent the feux engine without being overpowering and the color is great!

the car is looking pretty good but remember, sharpie ink isnt paint.
the problem is that sharpie ink isnt really black at all and it stands out against true black.
i know you said you plan on fixing it but you made it sound like your going to brush paint over the spots you sharpied.
my advice would be to bite the bullet and repaint the entire body with dark violet accents since that's what your LED color is.
follow one of the many painting tuts(if you need links, im here) and buy a couple cans of paint and some sandpaper(about $15.00 for the whole kit and kaboodle) and make it a smokn' RSX.

as for the lenses, i would paint the rounded bottoms flush with the line that runs through them.
this would make them look a bit better if left untinted because the casting line from when they molded the lense sticks out like a sore thumb.
if you tint the lenses(please dont use sharpie) it would look alot better without painting the rounded parts.

so far though, it looks great.
you cant have a project without the start of a project......

Its a good looking project and I can't wait to see the final version but just one little question for you..... the RSX is like the smallest shell out there (except for maybe the scion) do you really have room in there to fit that funky light box you plan on using?
