Back on the brushless drug and did a little boredom painting:

Body is about to fall into pieces anyway, so, mine as well go a little crazy with it. The hood's now black and so is the front "bumper."

Cheers,
Kyle.

Haha nice Donzii. If all else fails pick up a 1/16 E-Revo j/k. Mine runs hot enough as is haha. But that sucks that the M25 failed on you! I'm surprised my VXL ESC hasn't failed, I'm doing everything that Traxxas DOESNT reccomend, takin the risks and so far so good. Maybe look into a VXL 3M? The MMP is nice dont get me wrong I love my 1/10 Sidewinder ESC but since the VXL 3M esc is waterproof maybe look into it?

I was thinking about the Traxxas system once this Mamba gives up on me again (it's jimmy-rigged using three different Mamba 25s pieced and soldered together ). Waterproof just sounds so nice.. especially seeing as how that's how it fried in the first place...

Cheers,
Kyle.

Hey...you better not be knocking free gear from Cowboy.

Just kidding, Donzi...I'm glad it actually worked out once you got everything cobbled together.

Thank you.

Haha, yeah, a little old news, but still relavent since that hacked together ESC from Cowboy is still holding strong!

I'll certainly keep them coming! Hopefully in the near future I'll have some alloy goodies to show off (differentials and CVDs).

Cheers,
Kyle

The first run of the season for the RC18MT was a success: came back with a shredded differential after multiple high speed passes on a still relatively salted, asphalt parking lot. I am going to have to wait until my hands unfreeze to reassemble it, though.

Fine, you will not comment on words. Maybe you'll comment on pixels?

RC18MT was driven by my brother while I took the pictures.

More coming up.

A couple parts are on a wish list from TheToyz.com. I will update when I receive them.

What does it say when you have to fabricate your own battery tie down?
