Now you can try to fix it, for one grab the contrl you know the range button on the back of the control? make sure the range is turned up all the way.

i would be happy to help ya out. just pm me and i will solve all your evo probs. i just can't do squat with a gen1. now for your problem. there is a black wheel above the handle of your remote on the back of the silver part. make sure the wheel is all the way to the right. if this doesn't work, try removing the tie rod cover and remove the stock tie rod. check in the gap for dust, lint, and smal rocks or crumbs that could be keeping the survo from turning fully. hope this helped.

Try out what they said up above...or I've heard of people taking their Xmods back to radioshack for an exchange...

when your xmod is off keep constantly playing with the front wheels and forcefully keep pushing it to the max both left and right

now IF there is a resistance when you pushing the wheels yourself than keep doing it cuz you need to break in the servo BUT if there isnt any resistance that theres deffinitely a controller problem
