7 is the limit it puts you right at 7.4 volts which is the boards limit. 8 will just fry it all together.

Well are we talking about gen1 or evo? Cause Im pretty sure Gen1 = 7.4 volts. Also superinfinity FETS has nothing to do with your battery current.

Yes you can. Quit jacking his thread. Dennel, the stock 4 you can maybe add 3-4 more. Be keep this in mind. That high of a voltage continuous can fry your board.

Don't go 8 cell man...just go with lith-ions if you want that much power. And if it's a gen 1 I believe it will fry your board.

6 cell is fine. just don't go 7-8 cause then you'll have problems.

Basically you could, but you wouldn't benefit from it. If your going to stack FETs, then just get upgraded ones. then do it. And BTW, theres on 2 FETs.

well more power to the wheels equals more speed and less traction for drifting so yea i guess so

I'm not sure about the Evo....

But StiXxX on here had a 9cell civic, running rechargables. He has a Koenigsegg Siggy, that car was insane....

ph2t ran a 3s LiPo on his Evo. He said it ran hot. I'm not sure were he posted this, but I think it might be on here, otherwise it's on XMW....

7.4 is the limit, but if you have the money, you can push it a bit, just be conservative on the gearing (low gearing, geared for torque, not speed). Also make sure your motor doesn't pull too much. This way you might be able to get it to hold for a while...

Evo and EvoT boards are like HPI's stuff. They are all diffrent, and some 'freak' boards can withstand a 3s Li-Po... Which is....

3.7 x 3 = 11.1 Volts.

Depends on whether or not you can drift in the first place. What your asking is the same as asking if I got in a D1 car would I be a pro drifter...probly not cuz I don't know how to drift a real car well at all.

If you can drift really well now chances are, yes, six cell will enable you to step to the next level and help you do more impressive longer lasting drifts because, you'll have an increase in accelaration. But whether you get better or not is up to you and practice.
