Did you mess up the springs or the plastic pieces that hold the springs....more details? maybe pics if you can get 'em quickly??

If springs then use a spring from a capless pen (the ones that click) I think mechanical pencils have springs too that may work.

If it's the plastic part you could use toothpicks or something just glue em on(i'm so creative! ). I dunno how you would get away not gluing somthing. You can always take the temp piece off and scrap away the dry glue with your finger nail.

go down to the hobby shop and buy a bottle of tenax 7r, its a plastic welding agent that bonds in seconds.

the part wont be as strong as it originally was but it will be pretty close.
surely strong enough to play with until you can find a replacement part.

That's good to know. I never knew they had a product like that. Does it handle stress well? I'm thinking I may need it for my lancer in case I wreck it agian.

well the tenax basically melts the plastic together through chemical reaction.

if you also bought some 1/8" styrene strips and used them as bandaids and locked them onto the part with the tanax, the part should be just as strong as new.
the chassis on my modster truck is held together with styrene tubing and tenax, it weighs close to 2 LBS and there is no flexing and its solid as can be

with the tenax 7r and the strip styrene you should walk out of the hobby shop about $7.00 lighter then when you walked in

cheers,
bondo
