Default How do you bypass the factory on/off switch

I could use some help from one of you x-mod guru.

I am putting in a V2.2 Regulated Power Board in my 1967 Pontiac Firebird EVO with a pack of HD Lithium Polymer Pro 2S2P 10C Batteries to power a Fat Boy motor. She should be fast but I heard the factory on/off switch is a power hungry option you can bypass.

My question is, what is the correct procedure in bypassing the power switch?

I was told by soldering three of the four switch contacts together would bypassing the on/off switch. I have tried posting a pic of the board and labeled the on/off switch’s contacts A~D for easier identification.

Thanks,

Bozz

solder A and the connection point above A together to bypass the switch.
also you need to solder the points ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOARD with the switch removed.
remember that if you do this mod you have to remove your batts EVERYTIME you use your xmod.
that should do it.

so, if I follow you...

remove the switch. solder spot A with the spot above it (no label in the photo. It's the top of five solder dots in a row). Do not do anything with B, C, or D. How much improvement do you notice after doing this mod?!?

i assume your talking to me with this one as the other tut requires scraping off part of the board itself.

but yes remove the switch, solder the 2 points ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOARD(we'll call them a and a+)
the performance difference will be about the same as adding another 1.5 volts.
it isnt really alot in reference to the rest of the setup but if your trying to pull the most out of your xmod its worth it.

cheers,
bondo
