evo tx with street chasis?

hey guys, i was wondering if i can use an evo tx(with interchangable crystal) with a street chasis(with fixed crystal)...as in, my street chasis is band 4, could i use an evo tx with a #4 crystal in it, or do i HAVE TO swap to and evo board to use an evo tx? thanx guys...

it will work...Just get a #4 crystal for the controller.

100000 percent positive, take a look at some of the steering problem threads. whats the number 1 thing being said to fix the problem? get an evo / gen 1 remote................

sweet! and thank you guys! ya thats y i asked, steering problem....i just figured it meant i had to do the interchangable crystal mod, but i guess not. thanx again guys!
