2 answer your first question, yes it will fit. 2 answer your 2nd question go with swampers, 4WD, and a high torque motor. 2 answer your 3rd question, nobody knows the answer 2 that question except radioshack.....we just have 2 wait and see but search around the forum for threads on new xmods

Swampers is a tire made by Aoshima. The Aoshima Super Swamper tires are one of the best tire compounds you can get for crawling. They're really sticky and help your traction in tricky places; much better traction than the RadioShack tires.

However, they are very hard to find now-a-days and when you do find a pair, you're going to be spending about $25 for a set of four tires.

you can probably go get some lego tires and mod it to fit your truck... those might do better sometime for off roading

Metal bearings are a great upgrade that are cheap and easy to install. You can get radioshack metal bearings, or you can go with atomicmods wide track bearings, or shielded, or whatever you see fit for it.

If you get bearings, make sure you get either sealed or shielded, as this will prevent the bearings from dirt getting into them and rust.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

the evo motor will fit in the truck. offroading: off road upgrade, some aoshima super swapmers, awd, vxb sealed bearings(cheapest and always in stock, search vxb bearings on google), a good motor. s2 with neos. or a radline sp motor(cheap motor but great torque and speed, good for crawling, offroad, mudding, racing), maybe get a team redmade crawler motor. (great torque but a little loss of speed).

some of us (including me) have emailed radioshack asking about a new line. we have gotten answers back. "yes there will be a new line in fall/winter but there is no information towards cars/upgrades" i email them every month or so for new info. they suggest to check in every month or so for new info.

hope this helps.

You could also try getting the 180 SE high torque motor from XI.Not sure how good it is though since it's fairly new.
