Default May '09: "LowRider" COTM Voting Thread:

Quote:
Rules for Voting in the May COTM:
1. You must be a member of Xmodsource.com since March 31, 2009. Anyone who has joined Xmodsource after that date is not eligible to vote. This requirement is in place to help prevent cheating.
2. Any members caught cheating during the COTM will have their vote removed in the final tally. What classifies cheating:
1. Making a false alias to vote for yourself.
2. Voting for yourself with your own account.
3. Joining after the required date (March 31, 2009).
4. Discriminating other members and their entries.
Howdy,

Welcome to the May 2009 LowRider COTM competition. This month we have a total of five different entries which vary in size and style. Our entrants are as follows:

1. Alvin with his 2006 Cranium-Ford F150.

2. Taiwanesekid05 with his 2006 Ford F150 Spiderman-edition.

3. 123vette with his Volvo 850.

4. AJB32690 with his 1958 Chevrolet Impala.

5. Zippo855 with his Hummer.

**Please remember to review all members pictures and statitstics by clicking their user-handle, highlighted in yellow above the images.**

Please treat others the way you would like to be treated. At the first sign of "dissing" or defaming of another members entry, person or opinion, your post will be deleted and infractions could quite possibly follow that deletion. Use your heads. If it's rude, don't say it if. If it's unnecessary, don't say it. Simple. Thank you for your cooperation.

Good luck to all entrants! Have a fun competition and we look forward to the next one!

Cheers,
Kyle.

AJB32690's '58 Impala. Definitely the kind of car that comes to mind when I hear someone say "low rider." Great attention to detail, and I really liked the weathered look to the paint. I can't say I like the exposed circuit board under the car, but the layout works. Very nicely done.

Thank you for the vote. It just seems odd to me, that in a "low-rider" comp, we have mostly modern cars. I didn't really want to have the board exposed, but space became an issue, and the bottom of the chassis was the only place where I had any.
