Im still here, Got all mine still running. Actually got back into them recently now that i work at a hot rod shop, We drive them around after hours through the shop.

nice. that sounds pretty fun. i've still got 6 of them and a mini-z. gotta fix my mini-z a lil still and get my xmods running again (all my batteries for them are basically dead and wont' hold charge anymore)

The address is the same, but the tenant has changed. I'm guessing it went down something like this:
The contract between Chris and the hosting company ran out, leaving the host with the domain name and a site that's not making them money anymore. They took the site down, and we got a page not found message. They saw that the link was still getting hits, so they rented out the domain to some sketchy sales group or another. Said sketchy company gets page views they don't deserve, maybe profits, and stops paying for the domain once people catch on and quit going there. The content that was XMF is no longer on that server, or if it is, it's a backup somewhere that we can't get at.

I've actually been thinking about doing all the go fast mods my high school budget never let me do. GPM upgrades, Li-Ions, upgraded FETs, a hot motor... I just need to find all my crap at home now.

Chris contacted me and offered to sell it to me. He said he wanted it to go to a good home and knew about my son and I working with xmods and helping people in the xmods community.

No he sold those a while back. I do have one of the flag chassis's. And the NOS. And the Spider chassis. And a few more chassis's. Plus a whole lot more.
