Yup... Another Subaru Project :)

Well folks. The new project arrived in the mail tonight

Unfortunatly because of the competition rules this body is being built for. i can not start on it untill the 15th... (this is going to suck, im dying to start now)

But i figured ill atleast post some teaser shots, and in 12 days at the stroke of midnight, you can sure as hell bet im going to be up working on it!!

ive got three sedans in different trims booked marked to order. but at 40 bucks a pop... they are down the list a little ways. This was the only one that fit in the Maximum Budget rule of the build its being entered in, So it got chose to be the first one purchased.

what ever color jumps out to me when i go to my hobby store and look at the massive rack of colors.

Im completely tossed right now. Im open to suggestions because i really can not even come close to picking a color at this moment. I want something glossy and shinny, and NOT blue.

my buddy has a legacy this same body style. i was thinking of maybe doing a dark red like his... but other wise. im stumped.

you can do kind of a hunter green color i have the color on my hummer that i entered into the COTM but mine is flat hunter green. my friend owns a Subaru 22b sti in hunter green it looks amazing in the sun with gold rims. but you should go with some sort of green.

I agree with HummerH4...stock looks better.

its 1/24 scale. its the same width and height as a xmod STi shell. but its a tad bit longer, by maybe 3/4". as you can see it will need a chassis spacer or two for the wheels to fit the body right.

looking good so far i also agree with the green with gold rims there is one near where i live and it looks the dogs
that brand is the same as my skyline i was very impresed with the casting and detail how you find it ?
o and if its the same as the r32 i found it to be 14mm longer hope that helps

i dont know when ill make it to my hobby shop next, since its over an hour and a half away from me. but since gas is cheap i plan on heading down tehre soon. before the 15th for sure. So im stilled tossed on the colors but it will be whatever stands out to me most.
