What you need to know about LiPoly.

If you're too lazy to read that, you certainly should never come into contact with Lithium-Chemistry batteries. Most of everything you need to know is in that thread by Mongo.

Stangdude,
That was by no means a rude comment. Although it probably came off as rude and snide it's only for your protection. Lithium Polymer batteries are probably some of the most unstable chemicals when abused and things can go horribly wrong when misused.

If you have ever or are ever going to purchase Lithium Polymer batteries, you are going to need to know how to handle them. Too many times have I seen members of my Local RC Flying club mishandle their Lithium Polymer batteries and cause utter distruction to their homes, RCs and themselves. Reading that thread in its entirety is for your own protection.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Civic and BLT -- Thank you for your comments, but your posts have been removed. We do not need to have Stangdude get upset, and those two posts would probably lead to that. Thanks but they have been removed.

Of course I wasn't kidding. I just got burned by acid today with NiMH. Batteries are a scary thing when it goes wrong..

No problem, Stangdude.

RedSXmodder has some carnage pictures of his LP Pack that blew.
He left them alone and not in a Bunker, and he lost like $200 worth of BL Stuff. Bummer.

Go to YouTube and search "Lithium Explosion". Then you'll see how dangerous they are.
