I believe the motor fets are on the bottom and any bubbles or discoloration of them is an indication they are fried. If you think the smoke was from the motor check the wires from it and also look closely at the board from where the wires connect. Follow the circuit back and look for any signs of burning.

The top of the fets should be perfectly smooth so any imperfection would be a sign of destruction.

Did the wire fall off the thing that you screw into the car to connect the motor and the chassis? Pull the wire alittle and see if it comes out.

installing a V2 will not help. The V2 runs off the motor outputs of the stock EP and the stock FETs have to be in good working order. I suggest replacing the EP . They can be had through Atomicmods or xmod international. Once your car works good in stock form, then I suggest installing the V2 so you don't run into this problem again.

My f-150 is a 08A05, but it fried because of dirt in the motor because i drove it through to much sand, I called ATomicmods.com and asked and the guy there said it wasnt because the board, but because of dirt. Idk what my hummer has, my titan is 08A06 and so is my scion/acura. Also you need working fets to use the V2 board i asked the guy at atomicmods about that too.
