Default some noobie question dont get mad at them

i have some question, they might be dumb ones.
i have a corvette stock xmod, and i wanted to make it like either a drifter or like a show car that i can drive around.
ive been looking at builds on here for the past 2 months and figured id post asking for myself. is there any websites i could look at for parts, what kind of mods would i want to do to make this like what im looking for. and price is kind of an issue, i dont have much money.
Thanks in advanced!

"atomicmods.com" has a few metal parts and all kinds of upgrades. they even have how to's in the tutorial section. thats where i started. then try
"xmodsinternational.com" they have most things atomicmods doesnt (like stock body parts, used parts, and interior/exterior custom parts)

to make it simple, if the chassis has bright green pieces its the evo chassis. if it has yellow or red suspension arms, the motor 'plugs' into the female connector then thats the GEN1 or in other words the first xmod chassis.
