Thanks does that mean you like my wheels or my car? Lol. Because I'm in the process of redoing my rims. 1.5" lips in the back and 1.0" lips in the front and painting the centers black and thinking about eliminating the rear wing and plugging the wiper hole.

Thanks again. And not too many issues yet. Only real bug thing I've changed is the shift linkage. Other things are just my stereo new tires and lifted up the coil springs and made a new exhaust tip. Has an aftermarket cat back on it. But what are some of these gremlins?

well i remember growing up friends with Scirocccos...but i think the gen after yours...having lots of electrical issues/gremlins...that always ended up being PIAs to sort out...

Yeah. No electrical probs yet. Thankfully. And that rice videos hilarious and the comment made me chuckle. thanks. And I plan on keeping it really clean. It already looks great so not much needs to be done.

sweet dub man! Nice to see someone else on the forum with one. Its so clean and those wheels are fresh! I drive a mk4 jetta, can't seem to get pics to upload from flickr tho. Do you have any other plans after the wheels?

After the wheels I plan on rolling the fenders lowering it back down shaving the rear wing and rebuilding the engine and repainting it. Then eventually turbo it after a rebuild. Past that I can't think of much else to do besides get my hood resprayed but I'm in no big hurry. And I really dig the mk4 vws a guy I work with drives an mk4 golf it's bagged and he shaved all the emblems and got some work racing wheels. It's sexy.

Sounds like a good plan you got there. Yeah no need to rush, just do everything right and it'll be a lot of fun. And your friends golf sounds awesome!
