The wire makes it look tacky.
You should have wired into out of the back side.

No, Vortec is what GM calls it's modern truck motors (late 80s and up). The heads were engineered to spin the air into the combustion chamber to help atomize the fuel, thus, a "Vortec". The 4.3L V6 is in all basics, a small block 350ci V8, minus two cylinders from the center. Same bore, stroke, and the block for the most part (but V6), but has a counter weight shaft to help keep it smooth, since V6s are naturally rough.

Beyond that, badass motors and love all sorts of mods. V8 torque with V6 mpg.

hmm V8 tourque with V6 mpg sounds good to me hey why wont the remote turn on wire attach to my amp it will not fit

the remote wire is usually ridiculously small, like 18ga. its only purpose is to send a 12v signal to the amp to tell it when to turn on/off with the radio...what size wire do you currently have?
