If you're making a hand made motor then:
47 Turns is your max for Generation 1 Xmod 35 Turns is your max for Gen 2 EVO Xmod If you go below those numbers, you'll need FET upgrade

bang for the buck?
New mags, and a ball bearing case, use the stock, stage 2 armeture and brushes. it'll give you monster torque, and a little more top speed, and then you can play with your gearing to get the performance you want. |

I just put down the $20 for the pn racing speedy 05 bb motor at atomic mods (basically the fastest motor that runs off stock FETs as far as I could find) and it should be on its way here soon. Ill tell you how it is- but im looking for mad torque with little top-end increase, since I drift. (I was using the drift kit-but I got sick of plastic tires, and so I moved up to foam tires...but I need alittle more power to break traction on them)
