Some Antique Brass Metallic paint, and some fumes in my house (too cold to paint outside....) and:
can't wait to mount them up tomorrow! the stock cars had an "XT6 Full Time 4WD" decal on the side, like this: it was either removed, or painted over on this car. another moment in photoshop......yea, gonna have to order a pair of these too!

yep, in jdmland the XT and SVXs were both just called Alcyones.
don't have much choice on getting the cars dirty. with the mileage that I drive (360 some on the XT6 in the week and a bit that I've had it, AND about 200 on my wagon this week) and the grime on the roads.....yea. here's a pic of the wagon that I took yesterday as well: hopefully we'll get a warm day this weekend and I can take them for a bath. |

ProECM lightweight crank pulley
ice racing was the last coffin nail in the rear air suspension. it was drastically sagged for the trip home, and only made it about 2 more days before it was bottomed out completely. spent a day trying to jumper the solenoids and such to put air in them, without luck: that black connector under the fuel lines is the check connector where the signal wires for the individual solenoids are. jumpered to open one of the rears: the connector under the fuse box, jumpered to open the air charge solenoid: I was entirely unsuccessful.....so I got a few boxes over the last week or so: 4WD EA82 GR2s (which come with new upper bushings), 2.5" x 12" 250 lb/in Eibach springs from Ground-Control. should make for a nice firm ride, and match up well with some outback struts when I go EJ in the front. also got a couple boxes from RockAuto. including 6 NGK v-power plugs, Bosch plug wires, and a Beck/Arnley 02 sensor. |

seriously, right or wrong. take your honda hp discussion elsewhere. in fact, infractions or not, if a mod could delete that crap, that would be much appreciated.
got the KYB GR2s on ebay for about $75 shipped (unfortunately, I had to buy 2 pairs, a week after I bought the original pair, I got an email from ebay saying the seller had broken ebay policy, and the account was locked, so I'm still in discussions with them to get my money back....but it sounds like I will get it back sometime in the next few days. thank goodness I payed with paypal!!). the eibach springs were $60 each right off the ground-control website. a little pricey, but still fairly cheap, as I'll be getting another pair for the front later this spring, and about $250 after shipping for a set of high-quality springs is not too bad at all. started pulling the rear air shocks today. haven't been feeling well, so I only managed to be awake for about 2 hours of daylight today (didn't help that I got home from work at 3:15am last night, and the sun sets at about 5pm up here...). also doesn't help that I don't have a garage or even a paved slab to work on. so my jack sunk unevenly into the snow once and the car fell off. that happens often though, so I'm always careful to keep myself and other things clear of the car until it's safely on stands. anyway, got one air shock pulled, tonight before I go to bed I'll pull the top hat off it and assemble one coilover. tomorrow before work I'm going to try to get the coil setup installed on the one side, and start taking the other side apart. I also need to pull the disty cap and inspect the condition of it and the rotor to see if I need to order them up. |

Mind you, down force on both the C6 and the Bugatti are also a major factor, and harm drag .Co... The Subaru was not designed for the same purposes as the C6 and Bugatti.
