its an external LVC(Low Voltage Cut-off) use for running lipo on escs that do not have an internal LVC, it is not necessary, but why risk the explosion?

Yeah, decided to get it after horror stories from many experienced drivers that ran without Li-Po cut offs. One on-road car caught fire too when I was there. ****ed Li-Pos. lol

The Slash is nice but I decided to go with an HPI Savage Flux HP Wish I could have the Vorza Flux and Slash 4x4 too - have you seen those :O

Hey for Lipo cut-off where you not able to use a CastleLink and hook it up to your PC to set the Lipo cut off?

not the flux. Raced plenty of 4x4 slashes. My ESC is the crappy stock traxxas one. :3
