Default 4cefeds Nuclear Powered Mustang (56K)

4cfedXmod contacted me back in august about getting some paint on his mustang and TX to wich i was happy to oblige.
after we started talking about the paint scheme and what he was looking for a bunch of other ideas started popping into my head.
one thing led to another and the next thing i know i'm building mini reactors in an xmod.
the paint was thought out by 4cefed.
i added the lights, the underhood, the rims and the glow in the dark paint to the overall scheme.
i also puttied in some vents, added an RSX spoiler and widened the wheel wells.

here's some pics

so whatcha think????
cheers,
Bondo

wow, that car looks great. have a couple questions-

1) what gave you the idea to make something like this?
2) how did you paint the remote, like did you tape alot or take it apart?

thanks in advance, amazing paint job, great work!

later,
fordman

Not a total fan of the design on the car, but, if he likes it that's what matters.

I'm digging the glow in the dark paint, however.

he paid for the paint and the widening of the wheel wells.$65.00
i threw in the rest for free since it was my idea and i really wanted to do the mods more then make the money.
i ran all of my ideas past him and he loved em.
if i would have charged him for all of the work done to this body it would have been well over $100.00

1) 4cefed came up with the basic appearance.
his original plan was for a rusted sheet metal base,"4cfed" lettering with green flames licking down the side(he also bought my hot stang so he wanted the same flames) on both the remote and car.
the rest of the ideas came in when he said he wanted the "atomic" logos.
i just started brainstorming and came up with the rest.

2) the remote was taken completely apart and reassembled without the buttons, elecs, batt door, wheel, trigger and wheel hubs.
then a dummy screw was added under the hub to keep it open during paint.
while the elecs were out i swithed out the red LED with a green one to add to the theme
this is actually the second version of the controller.
the first one included the same flames as the car but they didnt look very good with the basic shape of the remote so instead of stripping it and starting over i just grabbed a fresh one.

this job was for the body wheels and remote only.
any questions about the chassis would need to be directed towards 4cfed.

thanks again guys, glad you like it

i really think you've outdid yourself on this one, as if the car's paint wasn't enough, the remote control looks awesome too...i like the custom bodywork you did with the scoops and rear window slats, and that nuclear rector under the hood is amazing lol. awesome work on this one

Holy sht... **** amazing. I think this is your best work yet!! I dont even know where to start. At first when I saw the WIP pics I thought, "looks crappy" because of the putty and the sanded down body. The green light under the hood look great!! The remote is looking sweet, especially with the green LED instead of the red LED. The thing I love about this the most is the glow in the dark paint. That thing is just **** amazing... But I may suggest chaging the liscene plate to "Nuclear" instead of "Hot Rod".

**** amazing job Bondo!!!!

Does anything happen when you go over 88 mph? How does this compete with the Delorean? Is it more powerful then the flux-capacitor?

OUTSTANDING work, that engine bay is top-notch. And the rusted metal is perfect.

I absolutely love the whole paint scheme and the added details such as the "nuclear" glow stick - it's just awesome!! Like I said before - this is one mustang that I wouldn't mind having in my collection (minus the 4cefed logo on the side -lol). Awesome work on this B-man - I think you really raised the level of custom work on this one.
